Join a growing, advisory-focused accounting firm in Melbourne CBD, where you'll have genuine ownership of your clients, meaningful advisory exposure and a clear pathway towards Client Manager / Manager level.

The Chance

You'll manage your own portfolio of business, private and family group clients, providing accounting, tax and advisory services across a broad range of industries. You'll have the support of experienced Managers and Partners while having the autonomy to manage your workflow, build client relationships and take on more complex work.

What You'll Be Doing

- Manage your own portfolio of business and private clients
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
- Work across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Provide tax planning and business advisory support
- Manage workflow, deadlines and WIPs
- Build strong client relationships
- Review work and mentor junior accountants
- Work closely with Managers and Partners on complex client matters
- Identify opportunities to provide additional advice and services

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years' Australian public practice experience
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification
- Strong tax and accounting knowledge
- Experience across companies, trusts and individuals
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Experience reviewing or mentoring junior staff
- An interest in developing advisory capabilities
- Someone ambitious and ready to take on greater responsibility
