Senior Audiologist

If you’re an experienced Audiologist looking for greater clinical autonomy, variety and purpose in your work, this is an opportunity to practise audiology differently.

At Expression Audiology, clinical judgement, independence and long-term client relationships come first. You’ll work primarily from our modern, purpose-built Collingwood clinic, with flexibility to work across our other locations, and have access to a broad range of hearing technology without being tied to a single manufacturer.

Your caseload will include predominantly privately funded clients, as well as clients with complex hearing needs, tinnitus, assistive listening technology needs, those with NDIS funding, ear health support and other areas aligned with your clinical interests.

You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor other clinicians and contribute to the development of our audiology service — while working within a not-for-profit organisation that has supported Deaf and hard of hearing Australians for more than 50 years.

This is a 0.8–1.0 FTE role, with flexibility in working arrangements for the right candidate.

About you

You’re an experienced Audiologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, individualised care and building trusted, long-term relationships with your clients. You’re confident working autonomously, bring robust clinical judgement and communication skills, and enjoy managing a varied caseload.

You value evidence-based practice, professional independence and continuous learning, and you’re comfortable sharing your knowledge and mentoring and developing junior clinicians. Most importantly, you’re looking for a role where you can use your experience,



contribute ideas and make a meaningful difference to both your clients and the broader Deaf and hard of hearing community.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Postgraduate Audiology qualification
- QP/current professional membership with Audiology Australia or ACAud
- Strong adult rehabilitation experience, with minimum 5 years clinical experience
- Experience working with HSP and NDIS funding arrangements
- Excellent client communication and counselling skills
- Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload
- Experience mentoring/developing clinicians
- Current drivers licence, WWCC, police check and NDIS worker screening check.

Competitive salary package

Expression Australia is a registered charity (Not-for-Profit) with Salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550 per year tax-free, including up to $15,900 for everyday living expenses and an additional $2,650 for eligible meal entertainment expenses.
