- 1. Verifying Sales Data: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly sales data from each direct or franchise restaurants.
n
- 2. Managing Costs: Control and reduce costs, including utilities, rent, COG, COE.
n
- 3. Monitoring Cash Flow: Prepare cash flow statements, manage AP/AR, oversea inventory purchases, and conduct cash flow analysis.
n
- 4. Overseeing Franchise Finances: Analyse franchisees' financial reports quarterly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
n
- 5. Balancing Assets and Liabilities: Verify the balance of assets and liabilities to mitigate financial risks.
n
- 6. Implementing Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal audit controls at restaurant operation levels and ensure compliance with internal financial control systems.
n
- 7. Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with federal, state and local financial regulations, ensuring adherence and advising management.
n
- 8. Prepare internal used financial reports on a timely basis.

Skills & Experience required:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
n
- Minimum of 12 months of hands‐on accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
n
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
n
- Proficiency in financial reporting, taxation, accounting information systems, budgeting, cost management, planning and decision‐making.
n
- Strong communication skills and excellent time management.
n
- Growth mindset, good problem‐solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
n
- Experience with Xero accounting software is key.
n
- Must possess valid Australian work authorisation over 1 year at time of application.
