The Role:

Reporting to Operations Manager, the Project Manager’s role is to provide tailored solutions to clients’ complex logistics requirements for oversized & heavy lift cargoes by providing intelligent advice and efficiently managing project execution. Responsibilities include,



but are not limited to:

Preparing and formalizing quotes for clients

Leading new business meetings following established sales process

Work in conjunction with Team specialists to investigate transport options based on scope of project

Establishing and maintaining communication with clients and suppliers throughout projects

Booking directly with Carriers to / from various locations

Managing project budget and costing in line with quotation

Document control and reporting as required

Deal with Customs and all other government authorities relating to import / export clearances

The successful applicant MUST have…

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position

Extensive experience with Project Freight, Break Bulk, RORO cargo, and chartering

Experience in cartage coordination and international cargo management

Be able to travel both domestic and international to support the operational needs of the business

Excellent skills with software such as: EDI Cargowise, Microsoft products
