Your impact
Our Water Infrastructure team are passionate about transforming Australia's water future through innovative engineering solutions that serve communities, protect resources, and enhance liveability.
Due to a secure pipeline of work, we’re looking for a Senior Civil Water/Wastewater Engineer in Adelaide to contribute to complex projects that will shape Australia's water or wastewater landscape for decades to come. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through planning, design, project delivery leadership, and business development while working closely with major water authorities across Victoria, Australia and New Zealand.
You will provide mentorship and support to juniors, whilst taking on client-facing responsibilities, nurturing key relationships and maximising work-winning activities to expand our client and project portfolios.
You will bring experience designing major water/ wastewater infrastructure projects including large diameter or reticulation pipelines, treatment plants or pump stations.

What You’ll Do
- Lead planning, design, of civil packages / projects in the water or wastewaster infrastructure.
- Actively mentor junior staff and manage workload distribution within tasks.
- Foster client relationships and technical leadership.
Here's what you'll need
What You Require
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent (Ceng or PE) or at least,
have a chartership ambitions in progress
- Around 7+ years’ experience in water or wastewater civil engineering.
- Foster solid cross-disciplinary relationships within Jacobs and our partners.
- Strong background in water industry consultancy, civil design, construction or delivery
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety in design and Australian water industry standards.
- Ability to mentor early or mid-career professionals
