Cadstruct have partnered with one of Australia's largest privately owned builders - over a century in business, $1b+ annual turnover, and a national portfolio of landmark public, health and cultural projects. The kind of contractor where the projects make the news and the commercial roles carry real weight.

They're now looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to take the commercial lead on a major Sydney project.

The projects

You'll run the commercial function on a $180m + commercial new-build managing head contract and subcontract administration at a scale most CAs never touch. This builder delivers the complex, high-profile jobs - hospitals, cultural landmarks, major government infrastructure - where procurement runs into the hundreds of millions and the commercial decisions genuinely matter.

The role

- Lead procurement, subcontract administration, progress claims, variations and EOTs on a major project
- Manage head contract obligations and client-side commercial relationships
- Mentor junior CAs and cadets — this is a senior seat with genuine leadership scope
- Work alongside an experienced CM/PM team with the systems and support of a top-tier builder — not a one-person commercial show

What you'll need

- Proven CA/Senior CA experience with a head contractor on major projects - $50m + preferred
- Robust command of head contract and subcontract administration, claims, variations and EOTs
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
- The commercial judgement and communication skills to hold your own with clients, consultants and subcontractors on high-stakes projects
