Your impact

As a Senior Cost Estimator, you'll play a key role in helping shape and deliver major mining and minerals projects across Australia. Working within our specialist Project and Program Estimating team, you'll provide high-quality cost estimates and strategic cost advice that enable clients and project teams to make informed investment, planning and delivery decisions.

This is an opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from early studies and concept development through to detailed design, procurement and execution support. You'll contribute technical leadership, mentor colleagues, and drive estimating excellence while working alongside industry-leading professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Based in Perth, this permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement and the opportunity to contribute to some of the most significant mining and minerals projects in the region.

Role Responsibilities

- Lead the preparation, review and assurance of estimates and cost plans across all stages of project development and delivery.
- Develop estimating methodologies, assumptions and cost strategies to support project planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, identify risks and opportunities, and optimise project outcomes.
- Undertake estimate validation, benchmarking and assurance activities to ensure consistency, accuracy and quality.
- Provide strategic cost advice and commercial insights to clients and project teams across mining and minerals projects.
- Act as a senior technical resource within the estimating team, supporting knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Here's what you'll need
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering,



Commerce or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cost estimates for mining and minerals projects within a consultancy, client-side or project delivery environment.
- Strong capability in cost planning, estimate development, benchmarking and estimate review processes.
- Experience with estimating software is essential, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across clients, project teams and technical disciplines.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a passion for technical excellence, mentoring others and delivering high-quality outcomes.
