Crows Nest

Join a growing IVF clinic where science, innovation and compassionate patient care come together.

Connect IVF is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Embryologist to join our dedicated laboratory team in Crows Nest.

We are committed to providing connected, compassionate and affordable assisted reproductive technology (ART) to the people of Sydney. At Connect IVF, treatment is guided by each patient’s individual fertility needs—not their financial position. Our purpose is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based fertility care and help more patients achieve their dream of building a family.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced embryologist to join an established team and play an important role in the continued growth and development of our laboratory and clinical services.

About Connect IVF

Connect IVF is focused on delivering accessible, high-quality fertility care without compromising on clinical outcomes. Our purpose-built clinic combines world-class technology, evidence-based treatment and individualised patient care to optimise each patient’s chance of having a baby.

Our multidisciplinary team of fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses and patient advocates work closely together to support patients throughout every step of their fertility journey.

We value clinical excellence, innovation, teamwork and, above all, the experience and wellbeing of our patients.

About the role

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will work within our purpose-built, well-equipped IVF laboratory in Crows Nest. As a Senior Embryologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality embryology services across the full range of ART procedures offered by Connect IVF. You will also contribute to the development of our laboratory, support junior team members and help drive a culture of excellence,

efficiency and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an embryologist who is confident working in a busy clinical environment and who is ready to take the next step—or continue to develop—in a senior role.

The successful candidate will be:

- An experienced embryologist with a minimum of five years’ clinical IVF laboratory experience, with previous senior or supervisory experience highly desirable.
- Passionate about embryology, reproductive medicine and delivering exceptional patient care.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and clinical practice.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with an interest in improving laboratory processes, efficiency and patient outcomes.
- A strong team player who enjoys mentoring, supporting and developing colleagues.
- Professional, approachable and empathetic, with excellent communication skills.
- Motivated to contribute to the continued growth and reputation of Connect IVF within the fertility industry and wider community.

About you

- To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in biological science, biomedical science or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications in reproductive science, embryology or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated clinical experience within an IVF laboratory.

- Experience across the ART procedures offered at Connect IVF, including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and cryopreservation of gametes and embryos.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and guidelines, including the RTAC Code of Practice and NHMRC guidelines.
- Experience training, mentoring and supporting junior embryologists.
- Solid technical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and patient-centred approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Availability to participate in a rotating seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.

What We Offer

At Connect IVF, we believe our people are central to the care we provide. In return, we offer:

- A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.
- A flexible roster designed to support a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
- The opportunity to work in a modern, purpose-built IVF laboratory.
- A supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- The opportunity to contribute to the continued development and growth of a progressive IVF clinic.
- A workplace that values innovation, professional development and continuous improvement.
- The opportunity to broaden your skills, take on responsibility and progress your career with Connect IVF.

Be part of something meaningful If you are an experienced embryologist who is passionate about clinical excellence, innovation and making a genuine difference to patients and their families, we would love to hear from you.
