SENIOR EVENTS SPECIALIST - WEDDINGS

We're looking for an experienced and highly organised Senior Events Specialist - Weddings to join our Hamilton Island Weddings team. You'll take ownership of wedding planning and delivery, building trusted relationships with couples and coordinating celebrants, stylists, suppliers and island teams to bring each celebration together with precision, professionalism and exceptional care.

What you'll be doing

You'll manage weddings from planning through to on-the-day delivery, becoming a trusted point of contact for couples and ensuring every detail of their celebration comes together seamlessly.



You'll prepare detailed event documentation and run sheets, coordinate ceremony and reception setups, manage accounts and work closely with internal departments and external suppliers. With multiple moving parts, changing priorities and important timelines to manage, you'll bring confidence, sound judgement and exceptional attention to detail to every wedding you deliver.

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated experience in event coordination or hospitality operations (Essential)
- Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
- Confidence coordinating multiple stakeholders, suppliers and event requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event/CRM systems (Essential)
- Valid Driver's Licence and ability to obtain a Restricted Driver's Authority (Essential)
- QLD or Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (Essential)
- Flexibility to work varied hours in line with wedding schedules across the island
