Senior Finance Manager, Private Credit

COMPANY A well-established alternative asset manager with a significant and fast-growing private credit platform, lending across property, corporate and specialty finance. This medium-large organisation has been doubling in size every few years, and is still in double-digit growth with very strong projections for the financial year ahead.

SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

Lead the financial control team for a large private credit portfolio spanning direct asset lending, asset-backed investments and corporate loans. This is a rare, all-in-one finance mandate combining:

- Leadership — run a small team, sit on the finance leadership team, report to a senior Finance lead with visibility to the CFO
- Corporate & fund reporting — own key line items in listed-entity statutory reporting; manage the external audit relationship for the division; act as legal entity controller for consolidated lending trusts
- Technical ownership — own the expected credit loss model, author AASB 9 papers,



lead Finance's input to the Valuation Committee, control high-risk journals (intercompany, consolidation, hedge and acquisition accounting) across multi-currency structures
- New fund launches — support finance set-up for new vehicles as the platform expands internationally into new products and jurisdictions

You'll bring:

- CA/CPA qualification
- Strong IFRS technical knowledge including AASB 9 and AASB 10
- Prior people-leadership experience
- Substantive finance experience within a private credit or lending business
