Role is located in Beresfield (north of Newcastle).

The Role – Located in Beresfield, NSW

Reporting to the NPD Commercial Manager, you will be required to be on site 5 days a week but there is flexibility with start and finish times. Your responsibilities include the following:

- Support the Product Development Manager/Commercial Manager in leading the team, ensuring cohesion and providing support to Food Technologists
- Ensure projects follow the NPD Stage Gate Process to ensure key metrics are achieved
- Provide technical expertise across the portfolio
- Take customer concepts through to commercialisation and launch
- Manage and provide leadership on technical aspects of projects
- Hold annual innovation sessions with key suppliers to ensure the joint development of a strong NPD pipeline




- Assist the company to improve in the areas of Safety, Environmental, Quality and Compliance

About You

- A solutions’ orientated outlook and the ability to identify opportunities
- Process management – develop, manage and follow process with a keen eye for detail
- Technical Skills – a current understanding of Australian food & quality standards and legislation to commercialise new products
- Effective negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills – ability to manage diversity of projects
- Leadership qualities with a hands-on approach
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A degree in Food Science or related discipline
- A proven track record in a similar role within FMCG Food
- Can be currently on a Visa and wishing to work regionally to speed up the PR process
