Job Title – Senior Full Stack Java Engineer (Banking)

What Role You Will Play In Team We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Engineer with a robust banking background to join our growing delivery team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java-based application development, full-stack engineering, and data-centric solution design. This role requires hands-on experience in data modelling, data engineering, data flows, system integrations, and enterprise-scale application development within the banking sector.

Experience in Treasury, Markets, Payments, Risk, or Capital Markets environments will be highly regarded

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

- Design, develop, test,



and deploy scalable enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern full-stack technologies.
- Build and maintain robust microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Develop responsive front-end applications and user interfaces.
- Ensure high performance, availability, security, and scalability of applications.

Data Engineering & Data Architecture
- Design and implement logical and physical data models.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, data ingestion processes, and data transformation workflows.
- Define and maintain end-to-end data flows across multiple systems and platforms.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and integrity across applications.

Integration & Solution Design
- Design integrations between banking applications, data platforms, and external systems.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams on solution design and implementation.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.

Banking Domain Delivery
- Deliver technology solutions supporting banking products and business processes.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
