Senior Manager, Legal Operations - Melbourne or Sydney preferred. Brisbane and Perth also open

This is a client-facing legal operations role with a market to build, not just projects to deliver. You will own relationships with in-house legal teams, lead the engagements that reshape how their functions run, and lead the people delivering them.

The client is a global law firm with a substantial Australian practice, hiring into its legal operations advisory team.

The essentials

- Permanent, full time
- Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office

What you'll do

- Advise clients on the operational effectiveness of their legal functions, including how they adopt technology and AI
- Own client relationships and lead business development as market needs shift
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams from design through to delivery
- Design and facilitate workshops that turn complex ideas into something a client can act on
- Apply legal engineering principles to translate legal and business requirements into working digital solutions
- Shape the team's advisory strategy alongside your own client work

What you'll need Essential





- A track record of leading legal operations or legal transformation engagements end to end
- Business development experience, including identifying and converting current work
- Legal operating model design, process improvement and resourcing strategy
- Legal engineering experience, designing and implementing technology-enabled solutions
- Change management and design thinking, applied on live client work

- Communication skills strong enough to influence senior stakeholders and produce client-facing material

- Data analysis and visualisation
- Experience building or leading an advisory team
