About the Role

Lead the end-to-end commissioning and handover of Delta's critical power, cooling and energy infrastructure projects across Sydney and Melbourne. You'll be responsible for managing all commissioning activities from factory testing through to integrated systems testing and operational handover, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, reliable and ready for customer operations. Working closely with project teams, customers, commissioning agents,



contractors and global factory teams, you'll provide the technical leadership required to deliver first-time-right outcomes across data centre and critical infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

Lead Levels 1-5 commissioning activities across critical power, cooling and energy projects.

Develop and manage Commissioning Management Plans, testing procedures, commissioning scripts and commissioning schedules.

Coordinate FAT, FWT, SAT, IST, energisation and final handover activities.

Act as the key commissioning interface between customers, contractors, commissioning agents, consultants and vendors.

Manage commissioning engineers, field service engineers and specialist vendor resources.

Ensure safe energisation through robust WHS, permit-to-work and LOTO processes.

Verify system readiness, protection settings, testing outcomes and operational performance.

Track commissioning progress, manage defects and issues registers, and drive timely resolution.

Coordinate training, O&M; documentation, operational readiness and warranty handover.

Work closely with Delta's overseas engineering and manufacturing teams throughout delivery.

What You'll Bring





8+ years' experience commissioning critical infrastructure, data centres, power systems or industrial electrical projects.

Demonstrated experience leading complex multi-discipline commissioning programs from planning through handover.

Strong technical knowledge of critical power systems including UPS, batteries, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, BESS and cooling infrastructure.

Experience preparing commissioning plans, ITPs, testing procedures, MOPs and technical documentation.

Strong understanding of Australian standards, WHS requirements, permit systems and live-site energisation practices.

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders including customers, contractors, consultants and international vendor teams.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or recognised Electrical Trade qualification.

Current White Card, Australian Driver's Licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.
