The Role

This is a Project Lead position.

You’ll be the one taking the brief from the client, shaping the solution, and seeing it through to delivery. Not just reviewing work. Owning it.

Day-to-day looks like:

- Leading mechanical design across HVAC, ventilation and broader building services systems from concept through to construction
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, running meetings, managing expectations, and building relationships
- Coordinating with architects, builders, PMs and other disciplines to keep projects moving
- Taking ownership of project outcomes including programme, quality and delivery
- Providing technical oversight and ensuring designs align with relevant standards and codes




- Supporting delivery through construction, including site visits and RFIs, ensuring intent is realised
- Mentoring junior engineers and helping lift overall capability in the team

The Projects A proper mix of building projects. The type you’d expect from a much larger consultancy. Commercial, mixed-use, institutional, and technically interesting work where mechanical design actually matters.

- Around 7+ years’ experience in mechanical building services
- Proven ability to lead projects , not just contribute
- Solid HVAC design capability and understanding of building services systems
- Confident in front of clients and able to take a brief and run with it
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and local requirements
- Someone who enjoys ownership, not being a small cog in a big wheel
