We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a Federal Government client and support the design, implementation, integration and operational support of critical network services.

? Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, implement and support complex network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, capacity, resilience and redundancy.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and emergencies.
- Support network integration across multiple providers and hybrid cloud environments.
- Maintain network security, patching, hardening and compliance requirements.
- Configure and administer Layer 2 networking , including VLANs, Trunks and Spanning Tree.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and telecommunications providers.
- Develop network documentation, procedures and operational standards.




- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to critical government operational and readiness activities.

? Essential Skills & Experience ✅ Senior-level network engineering experience

✅ Layer 2 networking – VLANs, Trunks & Spanning Tree

✅ Up-to-date cloud-based networking technologies

✅ Network monitoring, optimisation, resilience and troubleshooting

✅ Network integration across multiple providers

✅ Strong stakeholder and vendor management

✅ Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

✅ Ability to manage priorities and risks in critical environments

✅ Active NV1 security clearance

- Network/infrastructure architecture and roadmap experience
- Firewall configuration and administration
- BGP and OSPF
- DWDM optical networks
- L4–L7 application performance troubleshooting
- DNS and DHCP
- Infrastructure governance, standards and policies
