This is an opportunity to join our clients' team in a senior leadership capacity, working within an established network that delivers a broad range of dental services, including preventive dentistry, restorative treatments, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, cosmetic dentistry and other general dental procedures.
About the position
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead operational performance across its national practice network.
Based in Canterbury, Victoria, you will lead and develop a team of Business Liaison Managers while partnering closely with practice leaders, Dentists, clinicians and support office teams.
The position combines commercial leadership, people development and strategic execution. You will have the opportunity to influence how practices operate, identify opportunities for growth and help shape the next stage of the organisation's expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach and support Business Liaison Managers across multiple locations
- Drive practice performance, profitability, productivity and patient growth
- Partner with practice leaders to strengthen team and operational performance
- Monitor business KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement strategic initiatives and operational projects nationally
- Build productive relationships with Dentists and practice leadership teams
- Support compliance, accreditation and governance requirements
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and broader business planning
- Lead change initiatives across a geographically dispersed network
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and patient-centred care
Regular interstate travel is required to support practices throughout the network.
Key Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience within multi-site operations (managing managers)
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Demonstrated success improving business and operational performance
- Experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
- Confidence working with senior leaders and clinical professionals
- Experience implementing change and business improvement initiatives
- Ability to interpret KPIs, financial results and operational data
- Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
- Dental, healthcare, medical or other multi-site service-sector experience is highly regarded
