THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist at Evocative Media, you’ll take ownership of high performing, high-spend paid social accounts, with a strong focus on Meta.

You’ll work closely with our senior performance specialists, creative strategists, and cross channel teams to solve complex performance challenges and help some of Australia’s most recognised ecommerce brands grow.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply execute campaigns and report on results. You’ll have genuine influence over account strategy, testing, creative direction and the decisions that shape performance.

We’re looking for someone who has already managed large budgets (up to $1M per month) and understands the level of judgement, accountability and attention to detail that comes with working at this scale.

Unlike many agencies, you won’t be spread thin across 20+ accounts. Our specialists manage a maximum of 5 paid media accounts, with portfolio size adjusted based on each account’s spend and complexity. The larger and more demanding the account, the fewer accounts you’ll manage.

This gives you the time to properly understand each brand, think strategically and stay close to performance, rather than constantly jumping between accounts.

If you want to challenge yourself, sharpen your strategic skills and do some of the strongest work of your career, this is an opportunity to do exactly that.

ABOUT EVOCATIVE MEDIA

Evocative Media is an eCommerce growth agency working with leading brands across Australia and globally.

We’ve had the privilege of working with brands including Lorna Jane, Culture Kings, Ksubi, DISSH, Ringers Western, Hairhouse, Aje Athletica, Price Attack, Loving Tan and Billini , to name a few.

We were also recently recognised by Meta as one of the top 1% of digital marketing agencies in APAC .

Evocative brings paid social, paid search, email marketing and creative together to help ecommerce brands achieve sustainable, profitable growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Plan, execute and manage end-to-end paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok and Pinterest
- Oversee multiple ad accounts and effectively manage budgets of varying sizes
- Continuously monitor, manage and optimise campaigns to maximise performance
- Develop structured testing plans across audiences, creative, offers and campaign structures
- Diagnose performance issues and identify opportunities to strengthen campaign strategy and results
- Analyse creative performance and work closely with our Copy and Creative teams to inform future concepts
- Manage budget pacing to ensure spend remains aligned with each client’s approved plan
- Maintain high standards across campaign launches, tracking, targeting, exclusions, naming conventions, UTMs and account hygiene

- Identify performance risks and blockers early, with clear recommendations and next steps
- Collaborate with our internal Paid Search and Email Marketing teams to ensure strategies are aligned across channels
- Clearly communicate campaign performance, insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Deliver regular performance reports with meaningful, actionable insights that drive ongoing improvement

THE SKILLS YOU NEED This role requires proven experience managing high-performing, high-spend ecommerce accounts. It is not designed as a first opportunity to step into larger-budget campaign management.

You’ll have

- At least 4 years of hands-on paid social experience, preferably within an agency workplace
- Proven experience personally managing Meta campaigns with monthly budgets of up to $500K or more p/m
- Experience managing multiple ecommerce client accounts simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, campaign architecture, optimisation, attribution and measurement
- Strong commercial understanding of ecommerce performance metrics, including contribution margin, MER, CAC, LTV:CAC, AOV, conversion rate, new-customer acquisition cost and payback period, with the ability to use these metrics to inform paid social strategy and budget decisions.
- Experience developing and implementing testing roadmaps across audiences, creative, offers and campaign structures
- Strong creative-analysis skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear recommendations
- Confidence presenting strategy and performance directly to clients
- Strong written communication and the ability to make complex information easy to understand
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail
- Familiarity with tools such as Motion, Triple Whale, Supermetrics, Looker Studio and Google Sheets
- A proactive approach to solving problems and raising concerns before they become larger issues
- The judgement to know when to act independently and when to involve the broader team
- Experience across TikTok or Pinterest is highly regarded, but deep Meta expertise is the priority.

THE KIND OF PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for genuinely good humans who are exceptional at paid social.

People who care about their clients, their teammates and the quality of the work they put into the world. People who are loyal,

dependable and steady under pressure. Who communicate honestly, take responsibility and remain solutions-focused when things become difficult.

Technical ability is essential, but character matters just as much.

Above all else, we’re looking for people we can trust. People who do what they say they’ll do, speak up when something isn’t right and want to be part of a team that is building something exceptional together.

THE ENVIRONMENT

We’re a high-performing agency working with established brands, substantial budgets and ambitious growth targets. The work can be demanding, and there will be pressure.

At this level, performance can change quickly, clients will ask difficult questions and the decisions you make have real commercial consequences.

We don’t believe pressure should be constant or carried alone. We do expect people to communicate early, raise risks, reset expectations where necessary and remain calm and solutions-focused when things become challenging.

If you enjoy responsibility, care deeply about the quality of your work and want to work alongside people who hold themselves to a high standard, you’ll thrive here.

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE

- A competitive salary based on your experience
- Full-time work-from-home flexibility
- A laptop, monitor and equipment for your home setup
- The opportunity to work on a high calibre of paid social accounts
- Ongoing technical training, mentorship and professional development
- Clear expectations, regular feedback and support to continue developing your skills

- Summer Fridays, with half days during summer
- Interstate travel to our eCommerce Growth Summit and industry events
- Birthday leave
- An annual company retreat
- A direct, supportive and no-nonsense working culture

You must reside in Australia and be available to work within the AEST/AEDT time zone.
