Your New Company An established Australian technology business is investing heavily in the growth of its product function and is seeking a Senior Product Owner to help drive the next phase of product maturity.

Designing and supporting a suite of cloud, web and mobile platforms, the organisation delivers technology solutions used by thousands of customers and commercial partners. Your Recent Role

As Senior Product Owner, you'll take ownership of key product streams, working closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure the right work is identified, prioritised and delivered.

Your initial focus will be a recently launched web-based platform that enables customers to automate design, estimation and quotation processes. Longer term, you'll help drive product enhancements, integrations and roadmap initiatives across a broader portfolio.

Key responsibilities include

- Owning product backlogs, priorities, requirements and acceptance criteria
- Translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Driving roadmap planning, estimation and delivery forecasting
- Managing stakeholder expectations and delivery timelines
- Improving backlog management, planning accuracy and delivery discipline




- Facilitating Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and prioritisation
- Working with distributed engineering teams across Australia and overseas
- Identifying risks, dependencies and delivery roadblocks

This is a senior role with genuine ownership and influence, but no direct reports.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Proven Product Owner experience with genuine ownership of backlogs, requirements and delivery outcomes
- Robust stakeholder engagement and requirements elicitation skills
- Experience working on customer-facing digital products
- A track record of improving planning, forecasting and delivery performance
- Experience with Agile product delivery environments
- Strong backlog management, roadmap planning and prioritisation skills
- Experience influencing technical teams and stakeholders without direct authority

Experience across cloud, web and mobile technologies will be highly regarded.
