About the job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong civil and concrete background to join our team.

You will take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of civil and concrete work packages across projects. The role will oversee key engineering activities including constructability reviews, programming, procurement, technical documentation, quality assurance and commercial performance. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and clients, you will monitor project performance, coordinate site activities and provide practical solutions to technical and operational challenges.

You will also provide technical leadership to the project team, manage project risks and support the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of works from planning through to completion.





What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years' project engineering experience across structural concrete, earthworks and civil infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Ownership of civil and concrete work packages from planning through to completion.
- Project planning and programming skills, including managing resources, construction sequencing, progress and key project milestones.
- Strong understanding of civil and concrete construction methodologies, drawings, specifications and QA requirements.
- Experience with project cost control, forecasting, budgets, variations and commercial management.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical, constructability and site-based issues in a practical and timely manner.
- Client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across project and site teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers and junior team members.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and effective risk management.
- Proficiency in relevant project management and engineering software
