We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a 12-18 month contract engagement.

This is a unique opportunity to work across two established South Australian organisations in diverse industries. The role will see you supporting a leading wine producer in the Barossa Valley for approximately 2-3 days per week, with the remainder of your week dedicated to a well-established civil engineering organisation.

You will play a key role in uplifting project delivery capabilities, driving governance, implementing project management frameworks, and mentoring project teams to deliver successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor Project Managers and project teams across multiple initiatives.
- Establish and enhance project governance frameworks, standards, and controls.
- Develop and maintain project management processes, methodologies, and artefacts.
- Drive consistency and best practice across project delivery functions.
- Provide project oversight, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support strategic project planning, prioritisation, and execution.




- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across project and operational practices.
- Contribute to the optimisation of project management tools and delivery frameworks.
- Support the uplift of IT service management and operational processes where required.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex business and technology projects.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing project governance frameworks and delivery methodologies.
- Strong understanding of project management standards, processes, controls, and artefacts.
- Experience leading project teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Strong risk, issue, budget, and resource management capabilities.
- Experience working across multiple projects and balancing competing priorities.
- Knowledge of ITIL, IT Service Management (ITSM), and service improvement practices highly regarded.
- Experience with Jira administration and optimisation highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or ITIL highly regarded.
