Senior Project Manager – Major Residential & Mixed-Use Projects | Gold Coast

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Gold Coast team, with the opportunity to influence projects from early pursuit, feasibility and pre-construction through to procurement, construction and final handover.

This is more than a delivery role. You'll work closely with senior leadership and our development team to assess opportunities, develop delivery strategies, contribute to bids and help convert prospective projects into secured work. Once secured, you'll take senior ownership of project delivery through to completion.

The Opportunity

Our growing Gold Coast pipeline includes major residential and mixed-use developments valued between $100M and $400M, at various stages of development and pursuit. As Senior Project Manager, you will have genuine influence across the full project lifecycle. You'll be involved early in the process, helping determine how projects should be structured, procured and delivered before taking responsibility for execution.

Your responsibilities will include

- Contributing to the pursuit and conversion of major residential and mixed-use project opportunities.
- Working with senior leadership and development teams to assess feasibility, delivery models, programmes, risks and commercial considerations.
- Developing project and delivery strategies to support successful bids and project outcomes.
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of secured projects valued between $100M and $400M.
- Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies and commercial outcomes.
- Providing strong contractual and commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading, mentoring and developing Project Engineers, Contract Administrators,



Site Managers and broader project teams.
- Coordinating consultants, specialist internal businesses, subcontractors and trade partners.
- Managing project risk, quality, safety, programme and stakeholder requirements.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and key stakeholders.
- Driving accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across project teams.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

About You

We're looking for an established Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering major construction projects, ideally across residential, mixed-use or similarly complex developments.

You'll bring

- Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $100M–$400M.
- Significant experience in residential construction, mixed-use development or complex major projects.
- Strong project management capability across pre-construction, procurement, construction and handover.
- Strong commercial, contractual, procurement and programme management skills.
- Experience contributing to project pursuits, bids, feasibility or delivery strategy is highly desirable.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage senior client and consultant relationships.
- Proven leadership capability, including mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A commercially minded and proactive approach to project delivery.
- The ability to identify risks, solve complex project issues and make sound decisions.




- A genuine interest in contributing beyond construction delivery and influencing projects from opportunity through to completion.
