We're partnering with a high-growth Australian fintech to find a Product Manager to join their Product & Technology team.

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of Product, Technology, Capital Markets and Supplier Management, with ownership across both technology delivery and strategic vendor relationships.

n

You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Trading, Operations and senior stakeholders, while acting as a key point of contact for the organisation's technology partners.

n

The Role

n

Reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, you'll become the internal expert across a portfolio of third-party technology suppliers supporting the organisation's trading and wealth infrastructure.

n

This includes trading platforms, market data providers, connectivity and clearing infrastructure, as well as emerging technology and digital asset partners.

n

It's a genuinely broad role where you'll combine Product Management, Business Analysis and Vendor Management.

What you'll be doing

n

- Own day-to-day relationships with key technology suppliers and strategic partners
n
- Manage supplier performance, SLAs, renewals, contracts and commercial negotiations
n
- Lead vendor reviews, escalations and remediation activities
n
- Evaluate new technology and vendor proposals
n
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to scope integrations and define requirements
n
- Translate complex business and integration requirements into explicit specifications
n




- Own requirements from initial scoping through to acceptance and post-release validation
n
- Manage supplier roadmaps and assess their impact on product strategy and delivery
n
- Support release readiness, testing, documentation and stakeholder communications
n
- Work closely with Operations, Compliance, Trading and Client Services
n
- Represent the business in vendor forums, working groups and steering committees
n
- Identify opportunities to improve, rationalise or renegotiate the supplier ecosystem
n
- Contribute to vendor risk, governance and due diligence activities

What we're looking for

n

We're looking for a commercially minded Product Manager who is technically confident, understands financial services and enjoys working with both internal stakeholders and external technology partners.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- 4–7 years' experience across Product Management, Business Analysis or Vendor Management
n
- Experience within financial services technology / fintech
n
- Solid experience managing third-party technology suppliers
n
- Excellent requirements gathering and business analysis skills
n
- Experience working across technology integrations and APIs
n
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
n
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders, clients and vendors
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Capital Markets experience is highly desirable.
