Senior Structural Engineer - North Sydney An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy delivering a diverse portfolio of structural projects across NSW. This role would suit a technically strong engineer with proven design capability, sound knowledge of Australian Standards and the confidence to contribute to complex building and structural projects.

Your new role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering structural design, engineering analysis and technical documentation across a range of building and infrastructure-related projects. You will work closely with internal design teams, clients and project stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, compliant and delivered to a high standard.

- Prepare structural calculations, design reports and technical documentation.
- Undertake building stability analysis and structural modelling.
- Apply relevant Australian Standards across structural design work.
- Use engineering software including Strand7,



SpaceGass, Inducta Suite, IDEA StatiCa, RAPT and MathCAD.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, drafters and other engineering disciplines.
- Support junior engineers and contribute to technical review processes.

What you'll need to succeed

- A Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in structural engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and building stability analysis.
- Proficiency with Strand7, SpaceGass, Inducta Suite, IDEA StatiCa, RAPT and MathCAD.
- Experience with STAAD, SAP2000, SolidWorks or ABAQUS would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients and project teams.
- A practical, detail-focused approach to structural design and problem-solving.
