As part of an exciting operating model review of human resource management services to Council, the People & Culture section has established a dedicated Workplace Relations team, bringing together specialist expertise across recruitment, business partnering, industrial relations, work capacity, and ethics and integrity.
The Talent Acquisition function delivers recruitment and onboarding strategies, programs and services to support Council's current and future workforce requirements and align with corporate objectives.
We are now seeking an experienced recruitment professional to lead a contemporary, high-performing Talent Acquisition function.
About the Role:
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead Council’s recruitment function and work closely with leaders across the organisation, you will provide strategic advice on workforce attraction, recruitment best practice and talent acquisition initiatives that align with Council’s goals.
This is an influential leadership role focused on driving continuous improvement, leading a high-performing team and delivering exceptional recruitment and onboarding services.
You'll build strong stakeholder relationships, shape recruitment strategies and help strengthen Council’s employment brand while ensuring compliant,
efficient and customer-focused hiring outcomes.
About you:
You are a strategic and people-focused talent acquisition professional with significant experience leading recruitment functions in a large and complex environment.
You bring expertise in workforce attraction, recruitment best practice and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to provide trusted advice, lead high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement and deliver innovative, customer-focused recruitment solutions that support organisational success.

* The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
