Senior Test Analyst – Point of Sale (POS)

CloudMarc is partnering with a major retail client to engage a Senior Test Analyst with strong Point of Sale (POS) experience. This role is critical to ensuring end-to-end quality across retail store systems, POS integrations, and connected digital channels.

This is a hands-on testing role working closely with Product Owners, SMEs, vendors, and engineering teams within a fast-paced retail environment.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading end-to-end testing across POS, retail store systems, and integrations
- Designing and executing detailed test cases, scenarios, and regression suites
- Working closely with business and technical teams to validate store workflows
- Identifying, logging, and tracking defects through to closure
- Executing integration, functional, and UAT cycles across multiple platforms
- Providing clear, structured test reporting and stakeholder updates
- Supporting readiness for production deployments and post-release validation





What we’re looking for

- Mandatory POS testing experience (retail store systems, POS terminals, payments, pricing, promotions, loyalty, receipts, scanning, etc.)
- Strong hands-on experience across SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end test phases
- Experience working in large-scale retail environments
- Strong defect management skills (JIRA or similar)
- Ability to work across business and technical SMEs to drive test clarity
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capability
- Must be able to work onsite in Melbourne
