We are seeking a technically skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Server Support Engineer to join our growing IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining server environments, monitoring system performance, and ensuring stable and reliable IT infrastructure.
? Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual server environments.
• Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and system health.
• Provide technical support for Windows and Linux server environments.
• Investigate and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Perform server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Monitor system logs, alerts, and performance metrics to identify potential issues.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.
• Manage server backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery processes.
• Assist with user accounts, permissions, access controls, and system administration tasks.
• Support network services including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and related infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and technical procedures.
• Assist with server migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and technology projects.
• Collaborate with network engineers, cybersecurity teams, cloud engineers, developers, and IT support teams.
• Respond to incidents and service requests according to established procedures and service-level requirements.
• Identify recurring infrastructure problems and recommend improvements to system reliability and performance.
✅ Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Administration,
or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in server administration, IT infrastructure, technical support, or systems engineering is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical projects, internships, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, user management, and system administration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery technologies is preferred.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages is an advantage.
• Experience with monitoring tools and system management platforms is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call or shift-support rotation when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
