The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects. Role: .NET Developer Location: Melbourne Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on technical leadership across the design, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications.
- Remain close to the code, including coding, code reviews, detailed technical design, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams, driving engineering excellence and code quality uplift.
- Own technical solution design, governance, development standards, and delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Robust hands-on development experience with VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.




- Proven experience performing code reviews, technical design reviews, and developer mentoring.
- Strong software engineering background with experience building and supporting enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience with API development, application integration, and modern development practices.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, security, performance, and scalability.
- Experience with delivery tools including Git, Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience within Financial Services, Wealth Management or Superannuation.
- Exposure to wealth platforms such as BT Panorama, HUB24, Netwealth, CFS or similar WRAP platforms.
- Familiarity with Australian regulatory and governance requirements.
- Tech-first mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
