About the role

As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the service and lead our team to deliver high-quality education and care.

Key responsibilities

- Leading, supporting and mentoring the educator team
- Managing daily service operations, staffing and rostering
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and service policies
- Supporting the development and delivery of engaging, child-led programmes
- Maintaining a strong culture of child safety and wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community
- Supporting enrolments, family communication and general administration
- Monitoring service practices and contributing to continuous improvement
- Coordinating before school, after school and vacation care operations
- Managing incidents, risk assessments and workplace health and safety requirements

About you

- Is a confident, approachable and supportive leader
- Has experience working in OSHC, education or an early childhood setting
- Can build a positive and accountable team culture
- Has solid organisational and time-management skills




- Communicates professionally with children, families, educators and stakeholders
- Understands the National Quality Framework and compliance requirements
- Values children's voices and can support meaningful, play-based programming
- Can remain calm, make sound decisions and manage competing priorities
- Is motivated to help a growing service continue to develop and succeed
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain: An ACECQA-approved qualification suitable for the role, a current Working with Children Check, current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, current child protection training, a current unrestricted driver's licence, the ability to meet the requirements of a Responsible Person and/or Nominated Supervisor, and the right to work in Australia
