WE’RE HIRING – SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER / ENGINEER

We’ve just received an urgent requirement for an experienced SharePoint Developer / Engineer to lead a major upgrade from SharePoint Server 2016 to SharePoint Server Subscription Edition within an Azure IaaS environment.

This is a hands-on technical delivery role where you’ll take ownership of the upgrade journey — from building the new environment and remediating custom solutions through to testing, cutover, rollback and operational handover.

The opportunity:

- September 2026 – February 2027

- Melbourne preferred, but open to candidates Australia-wide
- Great contract rate

The key requirement: You must have hands-on experience with SharePoint Server 2016 and Subscription Edition, ideally including a direct 2016 → Subscription Edition upgrade.

What we’re looking for:

- SharePoint Server 2016 & Subscription Edition
- Direct SharePoint upgrade experience
- Database-attach upgrades
- SharePoint farm administration & PowerShell




- Azure IaaS-hosted, load-balanced SharePoint farms
- WSP/full-trust solutions & SharePoint Server Object Model
- C# & .NET Framework 4.8
- Search, User Profile, Managed Metadata & Secure Store
- IIS, SQL connectivity, authentication & certificates
- ULS, IIS and SharePoint upgrade-log troubleshooting

Additional experience that would be highly regarded:

- Entra ID / Azure AD
- MSAL / OAuth and Microsoft Graph
- REST / WCF integrations
- Visual Studio / MSBuild
- CI/CD for SharePoint WSP deployment
- SharePoint security hardening
- Production cutover and disaster recovery
- Manufacturing or FMCG environment experience – advantageous, but not mandatory
