Site Manager – Education Projects | $250K Package

Brisbane & Surrounds | $5M–$20M Projects An established Queensland construction business is expanding its new-build division and is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver a pipeline of education projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

With projects ranging from $5M to $20M, this role will suit a Site Manager who understands that delivering construction works within live education environments requires a different level of planning, communication and professionalism.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day site delivery of new-build and brownfield education projects.

Key responsibilities will include

- Managing projects from site establishment through to completion and handover
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
- Driving construction programmes and short-term programming
- Managing safety, quality and programme outcomes
- Maintaining strong QA and project documentation
- Coordinating works around existing school operations
- Managing access, deliveries, noise, dust and disruption within live environments
- Working closely with consultants, clients and school stakeholders
- Ensuring appropriate site behaviour and conduct is maintained at all times

What We're Looking For You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong track record delivering projects for a principal contractor, ideally within the education sector.





Importantly, you will understand the additional expectations associated with working on brownfield and operational school campuses – including safeguarding students and staff, maintaining professional site behaviour, carefully managing interfaces with the public and planning works around an occupied environment.

You will ideally bring

- Proven Site Manager experience on $5M–$20M commercial construction projects
- Education project experience highly regarded
- Strong brownfield/live-environment experience
- Excellent programming and subcontractor management capability
- Strong understanding of WHS, QA and compliance
- Qualified communication and stakeholder management skills
- A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach to site delivery
