Expression of Interest -Operations Administrator/Scheduler
This is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating daily schedules, allocating drivers and vehicles, communicating with customers and drivers, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
Key responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate daily transport jobs
Allocate drivers and vehicles to scheduled work
Prepare and communicate daily driver runs
Liaise with customers regarding bookings, delivery times and changes
Communicate job requirements clearly to drivers
Respond to last-minute changes, delays and scheduling issues
Monitor daily workloads and vehicle availability
Maintain accurate job and scheduling records
Prepare paperwork and documentation for drivers
Assist with timesheets and operational administration
About you
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
Confident communicating with drivers and customers
Comfortable working in a busy transport setting
Able to think quickly and solve problems as they arise
Reliable and able to work independently
Confident using computers, email and scheduling systems
Experienced in transport, logistics or scheduling — highly regarded
