Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to join the Sydney team of a leading global investment manager, supporting the management and performance of a high-quality Australian real estate portfolio.
n
Sitting across fund and asset management, this is a broad analytical role providing exposure to portfolio strategy, asset performance, valuations, financial modelling, investment analysis and ESG.
n
Working closely with senior Fund and Asset Managers, you will gain exposure across the investment lifecycle and play an active role in supporting portfolio performance and strategic decision-making.
n
The Role Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Analyse asset and fund performance, including financial and operational KPIs against investment strategies and business plans.
n
- Maintain DCF, valuation and commercial financial models, including leasing and asset management analysis.
n
- Support quarterly and annual investor and Board reporting.
n
- Assist with annual asset strategies, business plans and budgets, monitoring performance against agreed objectives.
n
- Coordinate external valuations and analyse valuation assumptions and movements.
n
- Assess the impact of leasing, capex, opex and asset management initiatives on investment returns.
n
- Support investment underwriting, acquisitions, onboarding and disposals alongside the Transactions team.
n
- Undertake market research and analysis to support portfolio and investment strategy.
n
- Support asset-level ESG performance and initiatives.
n

About You:
n
We are interested in candidates with strong analytical and financial modelling capability gained within real estate investment, funds management, asset management, transactions, valuation or property advisory.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
- Experience within the commercial real estate or property investment sector.
n
- Robust financial modelling and analytical skills, including DCF and valuation models.
n
- A sound understanding of real estate investment fundamentals and asset performance drivers.
n
- Exposure to valuations, business plans, budgeting, investment analysis or fund reporting.
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
n
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Finance, Economics, Commerce or similar.
n
