Role Description

- The Social Media role is an internship position based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-studio work and some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support day-to-day social media activities, including content planning, post scheduling, community engagement, and basic performance tracking across platforms. The intern will assist with content production, such as supporting photo/video shoots, organizing digital assets, and helping prepare materials for campaigns. The role may also involve collaborating with the team on creative concepts, researching trends, and contributing ideas to enhance the agency’s and clients’ online presence.
- Studio Central by Digital Connex provides the chance for our Social Media Intern to grow into also managing our Studio, based at Wetherill Park, located behind Greenway Plaza, between shoots, posting and preparing Studio content,



and day-to-day housekeeping when in.

This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and studio operations within a supportive, learning-focused environment. You will report to either the Social Media Manager, Lead Creative and/or Founder.

Qualifications

- Ability to plan and create social media content, including basic copywriting, image/video selection, and post scheduling.
- Interest in studio operations, with skills in organizing media assets, assisting with photo/video shoots, and supporting content production workflows.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and how they are used for brand building.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a professional attitude toward clients and team members.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Sydney, NSW, with the ability to work both independently from home and on-site in the studio.
- Proficiency with common digital tools (such as Canva, basic photo/video editing software, or social media management tools) is preferred.
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
