Studio Zee is a creative retail store and online business based in Peakhurst, Sydney, specialising in jewellery, homewares, art, icons, accessories and unique handcrafted and curated pieces.

We’re looking for a creative, motivated and social media-savvy person to join our team and help take Studio Zee’s online presence and business growth to the next level.

A Long-Term Opportunity

We’re not looking for someone temporary.

We’re looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of the Studio Zee team and grow with the business.

The role will initially be 2 days per week, but we see this as the beginning of something much bigger. As the business grows, there is potential for increased hours, greater responsibility, pay increases and eventually a full-time position.

We want someone who doesn’t simply want to be given a list of tasks. We’re looking for someone who will take initiative, bring ideas to the table, make the role their own and genuinely contribute to the growth of Studio Zee.

The more you bring to the role, the more opportunity there is for the role to grow.

If you can help us build our social media presence, grow our online store, create content that connects with people and bring new ideas to the business, we want to invest in you and grow alongside you.

This isn’t designed to be a short-term job. We’re looking for someone who wants to build something with us.

There’s no fixed ceiling on where this role can go. We’re open to expanding the position around the right person and the value they bring to the business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on and varied role combining social media, content creation, digital marketing, e-commerce and retail.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys social media and has a creative eye.



You don’t necessarily need formal marketing experience — you could be studying marketing, communications or media, have experience in a similar role, or simply have a strong understanding of social media and creating content.

What matters most to us is creativity, initiative, confidence and a willingness to learn.

You’ll have the chance to take an active role in shaping Studio Zee’s online presence, with the freedom to bring your own ideas and stay ahead of current trends.

What You’ll Be Doing

Social Media & Content

- Creating and posting content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Creating Reels, TikToks and Stories
- Taking photos and videos of our products
- Coming up with creative and on-trend content ideas
- Keeping up with current social media trends, sounds and formats
- Appearing in videos and being comfortable on camera
- Helping grow our social media following and engagement
- Bringing your own creative ideas and personality to the brand

Website & E-Commerce
- Working with our Shopify website
- Uploading and updating products
- Updating stock quantities and product information
- Helping keep the website fresh, organised and visually appealing
- Assisting with email campaigns and online promotions
- Learning and assisting with digital advertising, including Google Ads

Shopify experience is a bonus, but not essential. We’re happy to teach someone who is willing to learn. Retail & Customer Service

As Studio Zee is also a physical retail store, this role will involve working in-store alongside the digital side of the position.

You’ll also

- Assist customers and process sales
- Provide friendly and genuine customer service




- Help maintain the presentation of the store and products
- Create content while working in-store

No previous retail experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident, motivated and enjoys interacting with people.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Creative with a solid eye for aesthetics
- Confident using Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Comfortable appearing on camera
- Naturally interested in current social media trends
- Confident coming up with ideas and taking initiative
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable speaking with customers
- Reliable, motivated and organised
- Interested in fashion, jewellery, beauty, homewares, lifestyle, art or retail
- Willing to learn new platforms and skills
- Comfortable learning Shopify and other digital tools

Previous marketing or retail experience is not essential. If you’re currently studying marketing, communications, media or a similar field, that’s great. But we’re equally open to someone without formal experience who has a natural understanding of social media, content and what makes a brand stand out.

What We’re Looking For

We’re less interested in your qualifications and more interested in what you can bring to Studio Zee.

If you have a personal TikTok or Instagram account, have created content before, run a small business page, create Reels for fun, or simply have a great understanding of what makes content engaging, we’d love to see it.
