Role Description The Social Media Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Collingwood, VIC. This position is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging social media content that reflects Mr. Smith’s brand aesthetic and values across key platforms.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media calendars, coordinating posts around product launches, editorial work, and education initiatives, and monitoring community engagement through comments, messages, and inquiries. The role involves collaborating with the marketing and creative teams to develop campaigns, track performance metrics,
and optimize content based on analytics and audience insights.
The Social Media
Coordinator will also support influencer and stylist partnerships, ensuring consistent brand messaging and maintaining a strong online presence.
Qualifications
- Ability to create and manage high-quality Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing activities aligned with brand guidelines.
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and on-brand messaging for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing, including basic analytics, campaign optimization, and platform best practices.
- Familiarity with beauty, fashion, or hair care industries, and an eye for visual aesthetics and luxury brand storytelling.
- Proficiency with social media management tools and graphic or video editing applications (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, mobile editing apps).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative, education, and sales teams, and to adapt to feedback and evolving brand priorities.
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
