Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Assistant to support software development, application maintenance, testing, and technical operations. The role involves assisting development teams with routine programming tasks, software configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and quality assurance activities.

Key responsibilities include assisting with application updates and enhancements, performing basic testing and debugging, monitoring software issues, documenting technical procedures, supporting system configuration, and helping maintain development environments. The role also involves collaborating with developers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand technical requirements, resolve issues, and ensure software applications operate reliably. The successful candidate will contribute to improving software processes while developing familiarity with modern development tools and technologies.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts, software development processes, and application support.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
- Understanding of databases, APIs, web technologies, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of software testing, debugging, and issue tracking.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and document processes accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new software tools, technologies, and development practices quickly.
- Strong interest in software development and continuous technical learning.
