About the role
We have a full time position available for a Solicitor in our Armidale office. The role will include the following practice areas:
- wills and estates;
- estate litigation;
- conveyancing;
- commercial law (predominantly leasing);
- family law; and
- general law.
Qualifications & experience The role can be tailored to suit applicants with the following qualifications and experience:
- junior lawyer with experience in a few of the areas of practice; or
- experienced solicitor practicing in some areas of this law already looking for a change and to develop their own areas of practice.
About you The successful applicant will have:
- experience in or an interest to learn multiple areas of law;
- the ability to work autonomously;
- excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues to individuals and groups;
- experience in Microsoft Office and PEXA systems; and
- well-developed self-management and organisational skills.
