The opportunity

We're seeking applications from Solution Architects to support a Defence network uplift program in Canberra. You will sit across capability realisation, connecting technical design integrity to program delivery; working directly with the Project Sponsor and contributing to the core architecture documentation that shapes how these networks get built.

What you'll do

- Provide SME advice across ICT solution architecture to support project realisation and delivery
- Lead development of technical and capability definition documentation
- Apply architecture and interoperability models
- Align solutions to security frameworks including Zero Trust Architecture, ACSC ISM, Essential 8, DSPF and PSPF
- Incorporate Data Centric Security, DevSecOps, Multi-Level Security and continuous ATO (cATO) principles
- Translate capability requirements into structured technical architecture,



aligned to classified network accreditation requirements
- Participate in design reviews, technical working groups and architecture governance forums
- Engage Defence and external stakeholders to support delivery outcomes

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated solution architecture experience on technically complex projects, ideally on Australian accredited networks
- Working knowledge of Defence architecture frameworks and security accreditation processes
- Experience developing OCD/FPS/SAD or equivalent capability definition artefacts
- Prior Defence environment experience
