Adult caseload across aged care and disability, with a strong focus on dysphagia, swallowing, communication & language in the community.

Our client is an established multidisciplinary allied health provider looking for a Speech Pathologist to support a growing adult caseload across Sydney and join their fun MDT.

Salary expectations: $40 - $50 per hour + Super, depending on experience

This is an ideal opportunity for a Speech Pathologist who wants to continue developing their adult clinical skill set while working within a genuinely supportive team.

Depending on your clinical interests, your work may include dysphagia assessment and management, swallowing reviews, mealtime management plans, communication assessment, receptive and expressive language, cognitive communication, AAC and education for families, carers and support teams.

You will work across Sydney, supporting the allocation of clients based on your location and availability (within 30 mins)

Clinical Support: You will be supported by a Speech Pathology manager with more than 10 years of clinical experience, alongside another experienced Speech Pathologist within the team.

Onboarding includes shadowing, joint visits and gradual caseload development depending on your previous experience and confidence across areas

Junior clinicians can access weekly supervision and extensive shadowing, while experienced Speech Pathologists can tailor supervision around their own development goals. The Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy teams also regularly meet for clinical discussions, shared learning and development.

Quality-Focused Culture: This is not an organisation where every conversation revolves around billable hours. There is a general utilisation guide of approximately 5.5 hours, however,



management comes from clinical backgrounds and places significantly greater emphasis on quality of care, clinical outcomes and sustainable caseloads. Current speech pathology staff members have been present since 2022 and still remain.

They are looking for another Speech Pathologist who genuinely enjoys their clinical work, values collaboration and wants to provide a high standard of care to adult clients.

Less Administration: A dedicated Customer Service Team manages referrals and appointment scheduling.

Clinicians keep their availability up to date and the team coordinates suitable clients around their calendar, meaning you are not expected to spend large parts of your week chasing appointments or managing bookings.

Flexibility: The position will initially commence at two days per week, with the chance to gradually build toward full-time hours as your local caseload develops.

Standard operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with flexibility to structure your day between approximately 8am and 6pm where required. There is no weekend work.

After your first year, there is also scope for performance-based salary increases of up to 10%, alongside quarterly incentives.

About You: You will be a qualified Speech Pathologist with eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership and an interest in adult Speech Pathology.

Experience or an interest in dysphagia, swallowing, mealtime management, language, communication, AAC, aged care or disability would be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you will be someone who cares about clinical outcomes, enjoys working collaboratively and wants to continue developing their adult Speech Pathology skill set within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Minimum 12 months' experience with adult caseloads is required.
