Murdoch Gardens Care Community is located in a peaceful neighbourhood adjacent to Murdoch University with a retirement village next door. Our 141-bed Care Community is just 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD and is a spacious and elegant home with flourishing gardens. We have a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and encourage residents to stay connected with the local community.

About the Role

- Permanent Full-Time chance

- Monday to Friday
n
- $31.36 per hour plus 12% superannuation.
n
n
As our receptionist, you will create a friendly and welcoming experience for everyone who enters or contacts the home. You will manage incoming calls, greet visitors, respond to enquiries, maintain accurate records and support day-to-day administration across the facility.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide a professional, caring and welcoming reception service for residents, families, visitors and staff.
n
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages and respond to general enquiries promptly and courteously.
n
- Maintain visitor sign-in processes and support a safe, compliant front reception environment.
n
- Assist with general administration, including data entry, filing, scanning, mail, stationery ordering and document preparation.
n
- Support resident and family communications with sensitivity, confidentiality and respect.
n
- Assist with maintaining accurate records, reports and documentation as required.
n
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports quality care outcomes.
n
n
About You
n
n
- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
n
- Excellent communication and telephone manner.
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and care.
n
- Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
n
- Experience in aged care, health care or community services is desirable but not essential.
n
- Ability to complete pre-employment medical, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
