About the Role's Responsibilities
n
As the HSEQ Manager, your primary focus will be to support and consult with the project leadership through planning and monitoring and reviewing HSEQ performance throughout project delivery.
n
Principally, you will be focused on:
n
n
- Maintaining and monitoring compliance of the SMS and Project Safety Plans
n
- Reviewing Project Risk Assessments, SWMS and subcontractor safety documentation
n
- Identifying, consulting with the project team(s) and championing opportunities or initiatives to improve performance
n
- Assisting project leadership to facilitate and deliver Inductions and Toolbox meetings
n
- Monitoring and verifying plant and equipment registers and certifications, and required operator qualifications.
n
- Overseeing weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
n

About Your Experience and Qualifications
n
You'll bring proven experience in a safety-focused role within commercial construction ideally working for a commercial builder or developer.
n
Your experience in delivering commercial, industrial or residential apartment projects will supported by strong communication skills that allow you to build rapport across multiple project teams and stakeholders.
n
Your understanding of WHSE legislation is backed by formal safety qualifications, and you're confident in influencing site-level practices and promoting a culture of safety.
n
Experience working across multiple projects will be highly regarded.
