Our client is a NSW Government organisation seeking an experienced District Maintenance Coordinator to join their team in Sydney, NSW.
Role summary
The District Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and delivering end-to-end preventative and corrective facilities maintenance services across a designated region or district. The role will act as the key operational interface between stakeholders, contractors, service providers and maintenance teams to ensure facilities and assets are maintained to agreed standards, safety requirements and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities, including inspections, identifying defects, responding to maintenance requests and coordinating repairs and minor maintenance works.
- Manage contractors,
service providers and Asset Maintainers by developing scopes of work, scheduling and allocating activities, monitoring performance, assuring quality and ensuring maintenance outcomes represent value for money.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with WHS, safety, procurement and operational requirements, while investigating maintenance issues and identifying opportunities to improve practices, productivity and cost effectiveness.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, asset maintenance or a similar operational maintenance environment, including coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Proven experience managing contractors, suppliers and service providers, including scoping works, scheduling activities, monitoring performance and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Strong understanding of WHS and safety requirements, with the ability to assess maintenance risks, coordinate safe work practices and effectively manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
