South East Queensland | Community | Flexible Work
Join a team that actually supports you – clinically, professionally and personally.
‘You & Me OT’ is expanding our SLP department in SEQ and we are looking for a Speech Pathologist that will join our multidisciplinary team.
New to community-based practice?
Not sure if mobile/community speech pathology is the right fit? Come and see for yourself! We offer ride-along days where you can shadow one of our clinicians, meet the team, and experience what a typical day looks like before making the leap.
Who are we?
At ‘You & Me OT’ we place a strong value on flexibility, collaboration, and wellbeing of all our staff. We recognise that in order for you to provide clinically sustainable practice, it comes down to you being looked after as a therapist, one who is happy and supported. We value that this is essential at every stage of your career.
We are a community-based company who values holistic, patient centered care while supporting our practitioners with professional development packages to achieve their professional goals.
Our amazing and growing health team comprises of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Allied Health Assistants. We also maintain strong ties with our other affiliated organisations that deliver physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics and podiatry.
We are looking for a passionate professional to join our team! Behind the scenes, our marketing, admin and lead generation teams work hard to align your caseload to your interests and strengths to allow you to focus on what you do best - therapy!
Why you’ll love working with us In a clinician role, you will be empowered to apply your professional judgement, lead best practice, and contribute to a team culture where clinicians feel confident, supported, and take pride in their work.
Flexible work that is actually flexible
We do not operate on a classic 9am-5pm working model. We understand our team has a life outside of their role with us.
We recognise and encourage this! We offer flexible hours and team-oriented schedule planning to fit to your life needs. At your interview, we’ll talk openly about what works best for you and how this will work; we understand that it is not a one size fits all model. We have therapists working 7-3pm, 9-5pm, hours schedule around life/family commitments and everything in between.
Structured support within the role
Starting a new role can feel overwhelming regardless of your experience, we get it.
You’ll be supported through
- A comprehensive induction that continues beyond week one
- Structured learning pathways to support your growth
- Clinical supervision with our Speech Pathologist Team Lead who has 10+ years’ experience working complex disability, neurodiversity, AAC assessment and prescription.
Professional Development that’s truly tailored This is where we genuinely stand out.
We take the time to understand your experience level, your clinical interests and your career goals. From there, we will tailor PD allowances, scheduled support sessions, supervision etc. In your interview, let us know what support structures would be your preference, and we will build it to suit you.
A supportive, connected team culture
Be a part of a friendly and dynamic team environment with excellent onsite practitioner and management support. We have group mentoring, team support, training sessions by our experienced Seniors in their respective knowledge areas, and regular check-ins.
As a clinician,
there are opportunities to mentor others and keep your own skills fresh as the profession evolves. Support doesn't stop there! We also have our optional catch ups, socials and team events. :)
Growing professional practice
Opportunities are available to assist your own personal progression as a leading health professional. Our business has grown substantially over the last 12 months. With quick growth, comes wonderful opportunities for you to progress your career, understanding, and grow your own skills as a professional.
Through 1:1 support, education and training, we want to work towards building you up to a senior role within the next 12 months to be mentoring therapists and supporting them in their career progression.
