About the role

DC Resourcing is seeking experienced Steelfixers immediately to join our team on a casual basis 2-3 days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an established precast facility in the Warnervale, NSW 2259 area.

Key responsibilities

- Installing and positioning reinforcement steel in accordance with engineering specifications and site plans
- Tying, bending and cutting steel reinforcement to required dimensions and angles
- Reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate placement of steel elements
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, including formworkers, concretors and site supervisors, to maintain project schedules
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols
- Maintaining tools and equipment in valuable working condition

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Steelfixer in the building and construction industry
- Sound knowledge of steel reinforcement techniques, materials and specifications
- Ability to read and interpret structural and engineering drawings accurately
- Competency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to steel fixing
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, including relevant certifications where required
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Current construction industry White Card (or willingness to obtain one) is desirable




- Own tools - nips, reel, tape, belt
