Full-Time | Brunswick West & Roxburgh Park

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant / Stock Controller to take responsibility for stock management, merchandising and general store presentation across our two community pharmacies in Brunswick West and Roxburgh Park.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong community pharmacy experience who understands stock control, pharmacy merchandising and the importance of maintaining a professional, well-organised store.

Key Responsibilities

You will have primary responsibility for:

Stock Control

· Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels

· Order and replenish stock as required

· Identify out-of-stocks, overstock and slow-moving lines

· Coordinate stock transfers between both pharmacies

· Investigate and correct stock discrepancies

· Maintain accurate stock records

Receiving Stock & Invoices

· Receive and check pharmacy deliveries

· Match stock received against supplier invoices

· Receive invoices accurately into the pharmacy system

· Check quantities, pricing, discounts and discrepancies

· Follow up credits, shortages, damaged goods and incorrect deliveries

· Ensure stock is processed and placed on shelves promptly

Monthly Specials & Catalogues

· Coordinate monthly promotional specials across both stores

· Implement catalogue pricing and promotional changes

· Set up promotional displays and ticketing

· Ensure catalogue and promotional stock is ordered in sufficient quantities

· Remove or update promotional material when campaigns finish

· Work with the pharmacy team to maximise promotional opportunities

Merchandising & Store Presentation

· Maintain both pharmacies to a high standard of presentation at all times

· Keep shelves, displays and stock areas neat, clean, organised and fully faced-up





· Ensure shelves and displays are planogram compliant

· Maintain correct shelf labels and pricing

· Identify gaps or poorly presented areas and rectify them proactively

· Ensure merchandising standards are consistent across both locations

About You

We are particularly interested in an experienced Pharmacy Assistant who has previously been involved with stock control, ordering, merchandising or managing the front-of-shop operation of a community pharmacy.

You will ideally have

· Previous community pharmacy experience

· Strong stock control and inventory management skills

· Experience receiving orders and processing supplier invoices

· Good understanding of pharmacy merchandising and planograms

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent organisational and time-management skills

· Confidence using pharmacy computer and stock management systems

· A proactive attitude — someone who notices what needs to be done and gets it done

· Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with pharmacists and pharmacy assistants

· Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, as the position involves working across both locations
