A.B.A. Security & Electrical is looking for a Store Person / Purchasing Officer to join our Albany team and take an key role in supporting our technicians and day-to-day operations.
This is a varied position covering purchasing, stock control, supplier coordination and warehouse organisation. You’ll be working with a wide range of electrical, security and trade products, making sure our team has the right equipment and materials when they need them.
About the Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Purchasing and sourcing products and materials
- Liaising with suppliers and following up orders
- Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
- Stock control and inventory management
- Preparing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse
- Monitoring stock levels and arranging replenishment
- Assisting technicians and office staff with product and material requirements
- General stores and warehouse duties
About You We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
- Has excellent time management skills
- Can work independently and use initiative
- Is comfortable working in a busy environment with changing priorities
- Has good computer skills
- Communicates well with suppliers, technicians and office staff
- Holds a current driver’s licence
- Has a practical, hands-on approach to getting things done
