Experienced Early Childhood Diploma Educator

Tenure: Full Time

Bacchus Marsh Grammar Early Learning Centre is seeking a highly experienced Diploma-qualified Educator to join our Kindergarten program.

n

This position is suited to an educator with 3 to 5 years' Room Leader experience who is confident, capable and proactive, and who understands how to work in partnership with a Kindergarten Teacher who leads the educational direction of the room.

n

We are seeking a professional educator who contributes actively to curriculum and documentation. This is not a passive support role.

n

Employment Type: Full time (37.5hrs per week). Applications for part-time employment will also be considered.

n

Commencement: The commencement date will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

- Generous above- award remuneration, with a salary range of $77,801-$80,160 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with the successful applicant's qualifications and relevant experience.
n
- 4 weeks annual leave plus 3 additional weeks with pay over the Christmas and New Year closure
n
- 15 days personal leave per year
n
- Fixed hours and set teams (no rotating shifts)
n
- Staff meetings and professional learning conducted within rostered hours
n
- Paid refresher training for required certifications
n

About the Role

n

Working alongside the Kindergarten Teacher, you will:

n

n
- Support and contribute to the implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework
n
- Demonstrate initiative and professional judgement in daily practice
n
- Independently write and structure authentic, individualised observation reports (no template-based documentation)
n
- Maintain high-quality learning portfolios that reflect intentional teaching
n
- Create learning environments that are purposeful, engaging and thoughtfully designed
n
- Build respectful, professional relationships with families and colleagues
n
- Robust written communication skills and confidence in documentation are essential.
n

About You

n

You will hold:

n

n
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
n
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as a Room Leader preferred
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- First Aid Certification (must be current)
n
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
n
- You bring initiative, professionalism and a genuine commitment to high-quality early education.
