Tradesman Carpenter / Concreter

Slamm Services is seeking an experienced Tradesman Carpenter / Concreter to join our growing team.

n

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone with strong carpentry and concreting experience who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working across a variety of civil construction projects.

n

About the Role

n

Working as part of our civil construction team, you will be involved in a range of works across Mackay and the Bowen Basin, including:

n

Formwork, boxing and preparation for concrete works

n

Concrete placement, finishing and associated works

n

Construction of slabs, footings and other concrete structures

n

General carpentry and minor building works

n

Civil construction and site works as required

n

Reading and working from drawings and specifications

n

Working safely and efficiently alongside supervisors, operators and other trades

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

Holds a relevant carpentry trade qualification

n

Has demonstrated concreting and formwork experience

n

Has experience within civil, commercial, industrial or mining environments

n





Produces a high standard of workmanship and takes pride in the finished product

n

Is reliable, self‐motivated and comfortable working as part of a team

n

Has a robust commitment to safety

n

Holds a current Driver Licence and Construction White Card

n

Holds relevant site competencies/tickets where applicable

n

Experience working on mine sites or within heavy industry will be highly regarded.
