The Role (Snapshot)

n

As a GP at DYHS, you'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate primary care. Your work will include general practice, health promotion, chronic disease management, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

n

You'll also:

n

n
- Lead and mentor clinical staff and students
n
- Help shape clinical policy, systems & accreditation
n
- Ensure proper Medicare claiming and use of digital health tools
n
- Build relationships with allied health specialists for coordinated care
n

Who You Are

n

n
- Registered General Practitioner (AHPRA)
n
- FRACGP / FACRRM / vocational registration
n
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills
n
- Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal health values
n
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
n
- Experience in women's, children's or emergency health care; supervisor accreditation; AGPAL understanding.
n

- Valid Working with Children check
n
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)

- Valid driver's licence
n
- Pre-Employment Health Assessment
n
- Flexibility to travel between clinics
n
- Commitment to work a minimum of 2 days per week (0.4 FTE).
